1. PURPOSE

Linus Crafts LLC is providing this Privacy Policy to explain our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information that we receive through our Services (defined below). The terms “Linus & Crafts,” “we,” and “us” include Linus Crafts LLC and our affiliates and subsidiaries. The terms “you,” “yours” and “User/s” refer to anyone who uses our website or seeks our Services.  This Privacy Policy explains our online and offline information practices, the kinds of information we may collect, how we intend to use and share that information, and how you can make choices regarding the collection, use and transfer of your Personal Information.  "Personal Information" is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

All individuals whose responsibilities include the processing of Personal Information on behalf of Linus & Crafts are expected to protect that data by adherence to this Privacy Policy. Linus & Crafts collects Personal Information regarding its current, prospective, and former clients, customers, users, visitors, guests, and Employees. (Collectively referred to as "Individuals").

When you use the Services or engage in certain activities, such as registering for an account with Linus & Crafts, making an online purchase, responding to surveys, requesting Services or information, or contacting us directly, we may ask you to provide some or all of the following types of information:

i.  Creating an Account with us. When you make a purchase online, you will need to create an Linus & Crafts account. When you create an account, we will collect certain information that can be used to identify you, such as your name, postal address, and phone number.

Our servers automatically record certain information about how Individuals use our Services (we refer to this information as "Event Data"). Event Data may include information such as an Individual’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, cookie identifiers, MAC address, IMEI, Advertiser ID, and other device identifiers that are automatically assigned to your computer or device when you access the Internet, operating system, browser type and language, hardware type, the web page that a User was visiting before accessing our Services, the pages or features of our Services to which a User browsed and the time spent on those pages or features, search terms, the links on our Services that a User clicked on and other statistics. We use Event Data to administer the Services and we analyse (and may engage third parties to analyse) Event Data to improve, customize and enhance our Services by expanding their features and functionality and tailoring them to Individuals’ needs and preferences. For example, we will retain your shopping history and use details of the products you have previously purchased to make suggestions to you for other products which we believe you will be interested in.  And we will retain and evaluate information on your recent visits to our website and how you move around different sections of our website for analytics purposes to understand how people use our website to that we can make it more intuitive.  We may use a person’s IP address to generate aggregate, non-identifying information about how our Services are used.

i.  Location Information. With your permission, we may collect and store information about your location by converting your IP address into a rough geo-location. We may use location information to improve and personalize our Services for you.  Your device will have settings that allow you to turn off these services should you no longer wish to benefit from them.

A.  Consent. We rely on your consent in general to process your Personal Information which once granted, you can withdraw at any time.

B.  Performance of a Contract. We create and manage your account when you initiate a purchase with us, process and fulfill your orders and keep you informed about the status of those orders. We provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.

C.  Legitimate Interest. We process your Personal Information for our legitimate business interests including the development and promotion of new products and services, the enhancement and improvement of our current Services,perform marketing research in addition to accounting, auditing, and other internal functions such as fraud prevention and claims.

C.  Marketing Linus & Crafts Products and Services.

Linus & Crafts may use Personal Information to provide you with materials about offers, products, and Services that may be of interest, including new content or Services. Our uses of such Technologies fall into the following general categories:

     A. Necessary Cookies. Necessary cookies help make a website usable by enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies.  

     B. Preference Cookies.  Preference cookies enable a website to remember information that changes the way the website behaves or looks, like your preferred language or the region that you arein. These cookies will be used in context with the shopping cart functionality. They will remember any wish-list products and   visitor credentials when checking out.They will determine the preferred language of the visitor and allow the website to set the preferred language upon the visitor’s re-entry. 

     C. Statistic Cookies.      D. Marketing Cookies. Marketing cookies are used to deliver content, including ads relevant to your interests on our websites.These cookies will track visitors across websites. The intention is to display ads that are relevant and engaging for the individual User and thereby more valuable for publishers and third-party advertisers.  These cookies will be used by Facebook to deliver a series of advertisement products such as real time bidding from third party advertisers and will collect information on   which products the visitor has viewed and the content of the shopping card to increase this website’s conversion rate through targeted advertisement and product promotions through emails. These cookies will also be used by Google AdWords to re-engage visitors that are likely to convert to customers based on the visitor’s online behaviour across websites. 

     E. Unclassified Cookies. Unclassified cookies are cookies that we are in the process of classifying, together with the providers of individual cookies.

8. RETENTION PERIOD FOR PERSONAL INFORMATION

In General, Linus & Crafts retains the Personal Information we receive as described in this Privacy Policy for as long as you use our Services or as necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected, provide our Services, resolve disputes, establish legal defences, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws. How long we retain Personal Information varies according to the type of information in question and the purpose for which it is used.  We delete Personal Information within a reasonable period after we no longer need to use it for the purpose for which it was collected.  In general, we will retain your Personal Information for twenty-four months since our last contact or if you are a customer, for the duration of your commercial relationship with us and ten years thereafter.  This does not affect your right to request that we delete your Personal Information before the end of its retention period.  We may archive your Personal Data (which means storing it in inactive files) for a certain period prior to its final deletion, as part of our ordinary business continuity procedures for use in the event of a litigation or dispute or for  standard accounting and audit purposes.

 

9. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

The website may contain links to other websites and other websites may reference or link to our website or other services. These other domains and websites are not controlled by us, and Linus & Crafts does not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites or social media platforms. We encourage our Users to read the privacy policies of each and every website and application with which they interact. We do not endorse, screen, or approve, and are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other websites or applications. Visiting these other websites or applications is at your own risk. The website and our other Services may also contain links and interactive features with various social media platforms (e.g., widgets). If you already use these platforms, their cookies may be set on your device when using our website or other services. You should be aware that Personal Information which you voluntarily include and transmit online in a publicly accessible blog, chat room, social media platform or otherwise online, or that you share in an open forum may be viewed and used by others without any restrictions. We are unable to control such uses of your information when interacting with a social media platform, and by using such services you assume the risk that the Personal Information provided by you may be viewed and used by third parties for any number of purposes.

10. ONWARD TRANSFER - INFORMATION WE SHARE

We may share your information as described in this Privacy Policy (e.g., with our third-party service providers; to comply with legal obligations; to protect and defend our rights and property) or with your permission.        

 

 A.  Information Shared with Our Services Providers. We may engage third-party services providers to work with us to administer and provide the Services. Some of examples of these third-party’s services are payment processing, shipping, and handling returns. These third-party services providers have access to your Personal Information only for the purpose of performing services on our behalf and are expressly obligated not to disclose or use your Personal Information for any other purpose. When you make a payment, the third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe, or PayPal) receives your full payment information and we receive only a funding confirmation.

In such cases, our business partner’s name will appear, along with Linus & Crafts. E.  Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, then your information may be sold or transferred with your consent as part of such a transaction as permitted by law and/or contract. In such event, Linus & Crafts will endeavour to direct the transferee to use Personal Information in a manner that is consistent with the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such Personal Information was collected.

All Personal Information collected via or by Linus & Crafts will be stored the United States, in the cloud, on our servers, on the servers of our affiliates or the servers of our service providers. Such transfers are necessary for providing our Services to you. Linus & Crafts will continue to protect the Personal Information we transfer in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, your Personal Information may be requested by law enforcement authorities in certain countries that do not provide adequate or equivalent protection and have no adequate safeguards to maintain your privacy.  You may withdraw your consent to transfer your Personal Information to these locations by emailing us at linusandcrafts@gmail.com   If you do so, we may not be able to consummate sales transactions with you or provide servicing to your account.

You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment from Linus & Crafts for the exercise of your privacy rights.

We will ask your permission before we send you marketing emails.  If, at any time, you decide you want to opt out of marketing emails, you can use the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of the email.  We will process your request within a reasonable time after receipt. Note that you will continue to receive transaction-related emails regarding products or Services you have requested. We may also send you certain non-promotional communications regarding Linus & Crafts and our Services, and you will not be able to opt out of those communications (e.g., communications regarding updates to our Terms or this Privacy Policy).

California residents also have a right to opt-out of the sale of their Personal Information by a business and a right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of their rights under the CCPA. 

No sale of Personal Information. Linus Crafts does NOT sell (as such term is defined in the CCPA) your Personal Information or your customers’ (Users-of-Users) Personal Information to third parties, and Linus & Crafts has not sold Personal Information in the twelve months prior to the effective date of this Privacy Policy.

No Discrimination. Linus & Crafts does not discriminate against any User for exercising their rights under the CCPA.

 

California consumers can exercise their CCPA rights directly or through an authorized agent by signing in to their registered Linus & Crafts account at www.linusandcrafts.com and following the instructions outlined below. Please note: in order to protect Users’ accounts and Personal Information and safeguard Users’ privacy rights, we verify Users’ deletion and access requests, and to that extent, we may ask you for additional information or documentation (depending on the case), such as account related information, and, in some cases, billing information used to purchase paid Services, and a copy of documents that can assist with verifying your identity.

Such identification documentation (if requested) will be used only for verification purposes and we will delete it after your request is processed.

The following instructions apply to Personal Information we may collect from California residents on or through our Services.

Once we receive and verify your consumer request, we will delete your personal information from our records unless an exception applies. We will make reasonable efforts to honor your request promptly and consistent with requirements under applicable law.

 

Please note that permanently deleting your Linus & Crafts account erases all of your Personal Information from Linus & Crafts's databases. After completing this process, you can no longer use any of your Linus & Crafts Services, your account, and all its data will be removed permanently, and we will not be able to restore your account or retrieve your data in the future. Additionally, if you contact our support channels in the future, the system will not recognize your account, and support agents will not be able to locate the deleted account.
